40 g garlic, chopped
Oil for frying
3 to 4 teaspoons coarsely ground white or black pepper
300 g beef (fillet or ribeye, etc.), cut into thin slices
1 tablespoon fish sauce
Fry the chopped garlic for about thirty seconds or until golden. Place on kitchen paper. Mix the pepper with the beef. Add the fish sauce and mix again. Fry the beef, in the same oil used to fry the garlic, for thirty seconds for medium-rare or one minute for well-done. Drain well, then transfer to a serving dish and garnish with the fried garlic.
