Grilled Beef Salad with Lemongrass


Ingredients for 2 people:

  • 300 g beef tenderloin

  • 20 g lemongrass, finely chopped

  • 25 g shallots, sliced

  • 1 fresh bird's eye chili, sliced (adjust to taste)

  • 10 g spring onion, coarsely chopped

  • 10 mint leaves, halved

  • 3 long coriander leaves, sliced

  • 1 kaffir lime leaf, thinly sliced

  • 3 coriander sprigs, coarsely chopped


Seasoning:

  • 2 tbsp fish sauce

  • 2 tbsp lime juice

  • 1 tsp coconut sugar


Instructions:

  1. Grill the beef on a lightly oiled grill until desired doneness.

  2. Let it rest for at least five minutes before slicing thinly.

  3. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl, including the fresh herbs and lemongrass.

  4. Taste and adjust the seasoning with more lime juice, fish sauce, or sugar as needed.

  5. Serve immediately with lettuce leaves.
